Save Hours of Watering

For Best Results, Aqua Spike should be filled with a very fine sand to slow down the feed rate. This reduced feed rate will allow the container to empty between ten hours and three days depending on the climate, soil & other conditions. It is not necessary to fill the container when empty, because the water will remain around the roots waiting to be absorbed.

As the sand acts as a filter, it will eventually become blocked, therefore the sand may need to be replaced occasionally.

By Using the Aqua Spike, you will save valuable water and time, and water the plant where it needs it most. Your plant will grow stronger as its roots will not tend to grow towards the surface for the soil in search of water.

Note: Do NOT fill Aqua Spike with soil to slow down the feed rate, as it will block up and not work at all.
